ASW People Story

As the Store Fittings and Maintenance Manager at AS Watson Benelux, I am responsible for overseeing branch breakdowns, designing shop layouts and setting up stores. I have been a part of the AS Watson family for over 40 years, and I am grateful for all the opportunities and valuable experience that I have gained over the years.

My journey started as a Branch Manager at Kruidvat, and I have since worked in various positions such as District Manager of Kruidvat and Trekpleister, Security Manager, and Area Manager at Savers and Trekpleister. One of my most memorable tasks was participating in the planning of new store openings for Trekpleister, where we successfully opened 5 stores in a week. It was a challenging yet thrilling experience!

The best part of my job is motivating my colleagues to excel beyond their expectations. It is always a pleasure to witness my teammates grow and make successful careers within AS Watson. I believe in being open to challenges, daring to make mistakes, working hard, and thinking creatively to seize opportunities. I also have a deep love for the retail industry and a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service, both internally and externally.
