ASW People Story

I joined Watsons Türkiye as Store Development Director in 2019 after working 17 years in corporate real estate divisions in the banking industry to strive for new challenges in my career. The retail industry was new to me, but I feel so excited to join AS Watson because of its amazing culture.
In Store Development function, we’re responsible for store expansion, asset management of existing store network, design and construction works and maintenance of all stores. As a customer-obsessed team, we mostly focus on the design, location, accessibility of our stores, so as to better suit the needs of our customers.
During the 3 years of pandemic, our team has worked tirelessly to enhance the business processes and improve the efficiency of the existing store network in Watsons Türkiye. Therefore, by the end of the pandemic, we are now rolling out our new store opening strategy smoothly. It is truly teamwork that makes things happen!
