Accelerating Sustainable Choices

Since its launch in 2020, Watsons’ Sustainable Choices campaign has continued to build strong momentum, reflecting the growing consumer demand for products that help combat deforestation, reduce packaging waste, and incorporate more recycled materials.

Watsons is increasingly offering more sustainable products across multiple brands and categories. By 2025, more than 12,500 products are part of the Sustainable Choices campaign—a substantial increase from the 7,500 items available in 2021. Watsons has made sustainable options more visible, accessible and convenient across our retail markets, offering customers to make more sustainable decisions in their everyday shopping.

All four sustainability pillars—Better Ingredients/Materials, Better Packaging, Refill/Reuse/Replace, and Clean Beauty—delivered strong growth from 2020 to 2025, supported by deeper customer engagement and broader product availability. Among them, the Refill/Reuse/Replace pillar recorded the fastest acceleration as customers increasingly embraced circular solutions.

A key catalyst behind this progress is Watsons‘ strengthened collaboration with suppliers. By co‑developing products with more sustainable materials and packaging, and improving transparency across the value chain, our supplier partners have played a critical role in scaling Sustainable Choices. Watsons remains committed to driving meaningful environmental impact and empowering customers with better product choices.
