As we approach our 185th anniversary in 2026, we are reminded of how our legacy is built on innovation, adaptability, and our passion to put a smile on our customers’ faces. Now, we stand at another exciting milestone: embracing Generative AI (Gen AI) as a true partner in our journey.
Over the past month, I’ve been championing Gen AI across our global business - hosting kick-off sessions with all BUs’ heads of sales ops, finance, people, trading, supply chain, and marketing; as well as international commercial teams. For a change, this technology isn’t just for the tech experts - it’s for every function, everyone. If we integrate Gen AI into our organisation process, it empowers us to serve customers better, make smarter decisions, and unlock new possibilities.
For all of us, the coming months are about warming up and learning how Gen AI can best support us at work. It’s like everyone has a new little intelligent buddy. I encourage you to be curious. Personally, I spend at least 15 minutes a day trying Gen AI in different ways, and I hope you’ll do the same, so it becomes so natural, it doesn’t feel artificial.
