Since its founding in 1984, Marionnaud began as a small perfumery with a beauty institute in Montreuil and quickly became a pioneer by launching a loyalty programme in 1998, setting a new standard for the retail industry. In 2005, Marionnaud was acquired by CK Hutchison Holdings Limited, which opened up new opportunities for growth.
In 2008, Marionnaud proudly introduced its first own brand, Bio by Marionnaud. With a strong emphasis on sustainability, expertise, and innovation, Marionnaud now boasts over 10 own brands designed to meet diverse customer desires and needs, all while maintaining affordability.
From the very beginning, Marionnaud has been dedicated to creating positive beauty experiences, empowering both women and men at every stage of their lives to express their unique beauty. This mission has guided the brand as it has expanded its reach, ensuring that every product and service aligns with its core values.
Today, Marionnaud is operating more than 700 O+O stores across 8 markets, including France, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Romania, Slovakia, and Switzerland. Serving over 7 million loyal members, Marionnaud continues to provide luxury perfumery and cosmetics, solidifying its position as a leader in the beauty industry.
Making the World More Beautiful
Marionnaud enriches lives by creating positive beauty moments. Since its inception, the brand has been dedicated to supporting causes it truly cares about.
In collaboration with the CEW Beauty Centers, Marionnaud creates a signature plush toy each year, with proceeds going to provide comfort and well-being for over 3,000 hospitalised women fighting cancer and other illnesses. Additionally, through the partnership with Ruban Rose and Estée Lauder, Marionnaud supports breast cancer research and raises public awareness about the importance of early detection. Marionnaud also collaborates with Operation Smile, contributing to the Give a Smile and Women in Medicine campaigns to help cleft children regain their smiles and hope.
