The AS Watson x Huawei O+O & AI‑driven Digital Experience Hackathon was successfully held, bringing together cross‑functional teams from IT, digital and innovation to explore the future of retail through AI. The event focused on reimagining customer O+O shopping experiences, with seven teams presenting forward‑thinking concepts, ranging from agentic commerce and GenAI customer assistants to smart store intelligence, health and beauty AI companions, and AI‑enabled staff productivity solutions.
Participants were inspired by Huawei’s use‑case sharing sessions, followed by hands‑on ideation and prototyping workshops supported by mentors from AS Watson leadership and Huawei experts. This hackathon marked a strong step forward in accelerating innovation and collaboration, setting the stage for turning bold ideas into real‑world digital experiences.
