Rossmann was recognised at the ECR Awards 2023 by GS1 Germany for their collaboration project in the "Innovation Excellence" category. They, along with Beiersdorf, The Trade Desk, and Carat, received the award for their pioneering pilot project in online marketing. The project involved targeted customer advertising through websites and the Rossmann app, aiming to measure the effectiveness of online ad spend on offline purchases. By utilising programmatic targeting and offering coupons, Rossmann successfully persuaded potential customers to make purchases of advertised products at their stores. Their innovative approach to online marketing earned them the prestigious ECR Award!
