Watsons has been selected as one of Asia’s Top 20 Coolest Retailers by Inside Retail Asia, recognising the brand’s success in executing an O+O (offline plus online) strategy and diversifying into surprising new product categories.  

The introduction of the Colourlab 2.0 makeup concept store in Shanghai and Jiangsu has strengthened Watsons’ O+O platform strategy in China, where 300 news stores will be opened this year. The concept store creates a fashionable chic makeup space for customers, offering access to personalised makeup advice. In March, Watsons also partnered with Logitech Singapore to sell a selection of lifestyle and technology products, followed by the launch of Retailssure, a makeup exchange programme that allows customers to exchange purchased and unsuitable products, whether brand new or opened and tried, to reassure customers that they can shop without worries.

Watsons believes O+O is the new standard of retail and is committed to providing seamless shopping experience for customers both in physical and online stores.
