I felt so thrilled to become the reverse mentor of Alan Heaton, Group Finance Director. As a UX and Design Manager of AS Watson, the best part of my mentoring role was being able to share with our senior management the latest digital tools in the market and how to use cutting-edge technologies to enhance customers O+O (Offline plus Online) shopping experience which I am passionate about, including the Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR).

Despite his busy working schedule, Alan always showed his support and gave me his positive feedback. I will never forget that he sent me a personal message when I present on stage in a management development programme, which helped me to improve my self-confidence. I also found his insights from the financial perspective are inspirational and I’ve learnt more about our business in a larger picture and how to maximise efficiency in the team.
