AS Watson places People at the centre of its sustainability strategy, focusing on human rights, employee well-being, talent development, and community support. The Group maintains a strong human rights governance framework, supported by due diligence processes aligned with international standards and embedded in supplier onboarding and monitoring.

Employee priorities include:

Health & Well-Being: We have rolled out new tools and local initiatives under our health and well-being program, such as Superdrug’s ‘Happy Score’, to promote mental health and safe workplaces. Additionally, our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides staff and their families with access to confidential counselling and a 24/7 emotional support hotline.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I): As a signatory to the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles, the Group has reinforced its commitment to advancing gender equality and fostering inclusive workplaces.

Talent Engagement & Leadership Development: We continue to invest in our people through initiatives such as the AI Academy and various leadership programs.

In 2025, youth development initiatives expanded significantly, with over 142,000 young people engaged and more than 4 million training hours delivered across Asia and Europe.
