Superdrug has just won both Retail or shopping app of the year and B2C app of the year at the UK App Awards 2021 which celebrates and rewards excellence in apps developed in the UK or for the UK market. Superdrug app was commended for exceptional design, UX, great commerce, innovative use of AR and strong ethos of accessibility.
O+O Concept Store is Reopened
Spanning over 8,000 sq. feet, a three-storey Watsons concept store is reopened in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, to offer customers a seamless O+O shopping experience. The new store features three experience zones, namely Makeup & Cosmetic, Health and Sustainable Products. To help customers lead a sustainable lifestyle, Hong Kong’s first Naturals by Watsons refill station is also launched in the store!
Coastal Clean up
Watsons Taiwan held Smile for Good – Coastal Clean Up event, over 200 participants cleaned up the beach and collected 1200kg of trash, everyone picked up 6kg in average!
The coastal clean-up event had been run for 6 consecutive years, and for the first time, members and KOLs were also invited this year.

DO GOOD for the Needy
Watsons Singapore partnered with Willing Hearts for its Smile for Good 2021 activity!
Willing Hearts is a charity which operates a soup kitchen that prepares, cooks and distributes around 9,500 meals to the underprivileged in Singapore every day, including the elderly, people with disabilities, low-income families, children from single-parent families and migrant workers.
50 volunteers from Watsons Singapore office and stores helped with cutting ingredients, unloading bulky items and washing dishes. Let’s DO GOOD together!

The Perfume Shop was excited to organise the VIP Christmas Press Show at Londoner Hotel, Leicester Square, and invited its press friends and special guests for an in-person event! There was a giant advent calendar to showcase the selected perfumes of The Perfume Shop for this holiday season.
Connecting with Suppliers
Close collaboration with suppliers is critical to a successful partnership. Superdrug recently hosted its Supplier Conference to reconnect in person with its suppliers. During the conference, they shared their 2022 vision with the suppliers and celebrated some fantastic achievements!

To thank all its business partners who have supported Watsons all these years, Watsons Malaysia held the Watsons HWB Awards 2021 with the theme “An Evening Love Affair”. The event hosted over 100 top business partners via Zoom and celebrated Malaysia's best health, wellness & beauty brands!
Salute to Athletes’ Parents
Watsons Water held an award ceremony to give thanks to the parents of 3 para-athletes and donated HKD 200,000 to support the development of para-sports. In the ceremony, the athletes and their parents shared their life journey to encourage younger generation to pursue their dreams. Watsons Water is proud to be the long-term partner of the Hong Kong Paralympic Committee & Sports Association for the Physically Disabled which has made great contributions to the development of para-sports in Hong Kong.
