2021 Watsons Beauty Festival was held in 15 cities in Mainland China. The festival engaged GEN Z with new shopping experiences, such as free makeup in store, AR makeup, skin test and spa service. New Sustainable Skincare Brand
A.S. Watson Group and Procter & Gamble Group have jointly launched a Japan skincare brand aio in the physical and online stores of Watsons Hong Kong, China and Taiwan. Developed and made in Japan, aio is a brand focusing on simplicity and sustainability and its packaging is fully recyclable, making it a Clean Beauty product under Watsons Sustainable Choices.

Watsons China and Operations Smile jointly organised Give a Smile medical mission to help children with cleft lips or palates in Guangxi, China. The mission helped 51 children regain confidence through giving them a perfect and healthy smile.
Watsons China has launched Beauty Class to provide more all-rounded services for its customers. Customers can now take skincare classes in stores where beauty advisors will teach them about makeup and skincare tips; for example, how to keep the skin moisturised during the dry winter season. Freebies and personal recommendations will also be given to the customers.

Watsons brings Marionnaud luxury beauty experience to Mainland China by launching Marionnaud x Watsons cross-over store in Shanghai and Wuhan. Now, the third cross-over store has been opened in Sunshine Paradise shopping mall in Xian to provide a luxurious shopping experience to customers.

In Sichuan, Chongqing, Shaanxi and Yunnan province, Watsons China surprised its fans by having its own van to tour around cities without Watsons store yet. The van displayed different types of products including cosmetics, skincare and personal care products. Customers not only enjoyed skin tests, free makeup and skin care services but also had a chance to shop for the hottest and newly launched products.
